Juana's was a pleasant surprise, and a first time experience. My guest and I were guided there from Google, after attending an event at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The Cuban cuisine we were in search of was only minutes away. Our waitress was warm, friendly, and welcoming. The restaurant was small- average size, well maintained and clean, with a few paintings here and there. The walls are adorned with the scriblings of customers who have come through its doors, which adds a nice sense of community to it. I loved that! The food was delicious. I had the breaded steak, with ham and melted cheese on top, moro -mixed black beans with rice, and tostones/fried plaintains with a hint of salt. Let me say delicious, again. The food was served hot, and the rice stayed hot throughout the meal. I had not had breaded steak in years, and that steak reminded me of when food was cooked with care. The tostones, were fresh and had the perfect crunch and flavor. I normally would need a takeout, but, I ate all of my food! It was that satisyfying without giving you that bulky feeling. We were given a pleasant goodbye as we exited. When I am in the area, I will definitely return. Prices were reasonable as well so hurry to Juana La Cubana Cafe!

Amazing gem in the area! Only tried the chicken sandwich and chicken soup so far but look forward to going back to try more. Mirna is super friendly and welcoming. Def love the vibes. The food was so good I forgot to take a picture. Nice portions. Thank you!

First of all our waitress was fantastic. This place does not get the credit that it deserves. It is so family-friendly and community-based. If you have any sort of food allergy the waitress make sure that she can accommodate you. Not to mention that the food was extremely tasty. Fried food was Celiac friendly if asked. Every dish that we had was amazing. This was very reasonable with the pricing too. We loved the music, environment and also the fact that they encourage writing on the walls! The food was so authentic and fresh. No complaints here besides that we don't live closer!

5 stars for service, food and value! Stopped in around 4pm on a Saturday. Was looking for lunch options in the area and found Juana on Yelp. This was a great find!! Our waitress was the only person front of house at the time. Nevertheless, she was attentive, patient and very friendly! My mom observed her rush to the door to open it for someone bringing in their elderly family member. She took her time with that table and it was nice to see that she showed so much respect to them. As far as the food - delicioso! Before our meals, we had cortaditos that were strong and only a little sweet as requested. In less than 10 minites, plates of food were headed our way. I had the picadillo with white rice, black beans and sweet plantain. My mom had the bistec empanizado (a breaded skirt steak covered with ham and swiss cheese) with moro rice (white rice mixed with black beans) and tostones. We both agreed that the food exceeded our expectations. Authentic flavors and perfect portions. The temperature of the food was excellent - steam was coming out of the rice. The taste was very fresh as if the food was cooked to order. We didn't intend to finish but nearly did and our happy bellies were set for the rest of the day. Overheard they've been open a total of 7 years with 5 being in this location. There is plenty of free parking available. I'm not often in the area but if I were in the future and found myself craving Cuban food, I would return with no hesitation.

Truly, the best steak sandwich I’ve ever had in Fort Lauderdale. This place exceeded my expectations. The sandwich looked very appetizing, the bread was soft, the steak was not chewy, The tomatoes were fresh, and the presentation of the sandwich looked good. The guy that worked there was really nice and friendly and the restaurant was clean. We did not have to wait very long for our food and the music was great. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone that I know especially if they’re craving a steak sandwich at 7:30 PM.

I highly recommend this little Cuban restaurant. My wife and I had dinner at this hidden gem while on a one-night stay near the airport. All our food was fresh, well-prepared and delicious. The vaca frita & pernil (roast pork) were perfectly prepared. We also ordered some awesome tostones and tres leches. Also, the service was so friendly and attentive. We loved the casual atmosphere, Latin music, and writings on the wall. When in the Ft. Lauderdale / Dania Beach area, do yourself a favor — skip the chain restaurants and overpriced seafood joints and head here!

Cozy hole in the wall spot near the airport with tasty - reasonably priced - meats and sandwiches and very personable service. We got the fried cow and Cubano sandwich and both were very flavorful. Only knock was on the pork which could’ve been a bit more juicy but overall a lovely place and time. I loved writing on the wall. Overall: 4.5 stars

This place is the best. The breaded chicken is awesome. Best I've had. I stop here first, every time I come to Miami. Good service. Great food. Easy off and on the highway. Good location. I recommend highly.
